As you may or may not know, music is only my side thing. I'm an architect and designer by trade (and by study). While the producing thing is my second life, so to speak, architecture and design is my true love and true passion. I'm soon proposing a huge redevelopment project to the city of Detroit through the
rousedetroit program, which is showcasing approaches by architects all over the United States and what our answers are to America's crumbling former golden city. I look forward to sharing with you my proposal in the coming weeks, but until then, wish me luck, and can't wait to show you what I've come up with.
In the meantime, here's some pictures of an American city. The rich are getting richer down in Wall Street, while this is what's really going on in our own backyard to some of the real people and places that helped build this country. I don't like to get political but this transcends politics. It's a damn shame that we can let not only Detroit, but so many of our cities (Camden, Baltimore, Memphis, to name just a few) go down the road to the third world. I hope I can use my talents in anyway (large and small) to make a difference in this country I love so much.
