West Coast Independent Label, Seedless Records pulled off a Triple Play last thursday at the Rock City News "Rockies" Awards at BB Kings in Universal City with 3 bands taking home honors at the Hollywood Show.

Label staple Cowboy Surfer who has had a resurgence of popularity in the last year having reached 1 in Instrumental Rock last week on mp3.com.au and has kept it for a 2nd straight week along with a 2 charting in Blues Rock took home the "Rockies" Award for Best Instrumental Band in front of a packed house at the famed Hollywood blues club where Jani Lane from Warrant was headlining.

Says label entrepreneur and band leader Stu Shulman, "I am extremely pleased with the resurgence in popularity of our music. We headlined the Aloha Beach Festival a few months ago and Tbones performance was legendary. We put a few tracks up on a new 'Live" Cowboy Surfer My Space page and the live stuff just took off. We are recording some new songs and have just recently signed a major distribution deal with IRIS distribution. We are looking forward to touring with our label mates and having a breakout year in 2008! I am also so very proud of the other bands that won awards.

Seedless Records also represented Aces High from Thousand Oaks California, who released their debut self titled CD only a few months ago having reached 1 status on MP3.com in Australia won the 2007 Rock City News "Rockies" Award for Best Alternative Band.



The amazing Anagnos Brothers, John 21 and AJ 16 along with bandmates Mark Borbas and Stephen Cook have ignited a fire that has struck a chord with young fans around the world.

And last but not least, the Hard Rock and Roll outfit from Santa Monica California Vizionz, who released their debut 3 song demo CD only a few months ago reaching top 5 status on MP3.com in Australia also stepped up to the plate and hit a home run by taking home the 2007 Rock City News "Rockies" Award for Best Hard Rock Band.



Vizionz has established a reputation in a short period of time as a hard hitting, straight ahead rock and roll outfit with a tight rhythm section and screaming guitars.

Their style of keeping it old school while bringing something fresh to the mix has impressed fans so far. Enough so to get fans to vote for them in the awards balloting at Rock City. Their online presence has grown steadily over the last few months with thousands of new fans joining the Vizionz nation.
