Hello all,
This is just a quick missive to say thanks to all who came down to the single launch and to fill those of you who weren't able to make it in on the fun.
The night kiscked off with a bit of old 80s electro from leigh and myself on decks but only truly ignited with Fuzzy Logic getting up to do their thing. Beginning a set with row row row your boat takes some beating and their noisy, in your face, discordant ska tinged hip hop is just fucking brilliant.
Next came Tigers that talked our friends from the North, they had travelled down from the North just to be there on our big day, so top marks to them for effort, but even more so for the performance, i fell in love with them when we played together 2 years ago, but christ on a bike, they've improved and then some. They also released a single last week so go and buy it.
Next up were Remodel or us! It was an absolute pleasure to play in front of a crowd who gave so much back, quite a few people have told me it was the best they have ever seen us and if that is the case full marks go to the people who were there cheering as it certainly helped boost my energy when i needed it. What more can i say but thankyou, we all had a fantastic time.
The Djs playing after were old friends Dave White, one time Do Nothing King and The Eighteen Carrot Love Affairs Steve Horry. Both of whom played blistering britpop, which was sadly cutshort by the bouncers telling us we had to leave.
Anyway, thanks to all who were involved and all who struggled through the tube strike to get there. You are all stars.
