I had a whale of a time on Election Night in America. It was a lot of fun, to be sure. But nothing, and I do mean nothing, was more fun than checking in with the fine folks over at freerepublic.com to see what their take was on the proceedings. Probably a lot of guarded optimism and begrudging congratulations, right?

It was so much fun, I had to bookmark some of the entries. Two weeks later, it's just that much funnier. Let's take a look, shall we?

I got into a nice argument with my wife's friend over gay marriage yesterday. She tried to tell me that times are changing, that we need to change also and accept that homosexuals should be allowed to integrate with the rest of us as equals. You know what would have been even better, though?
