The term Pandemic has a big meaning. A pandemic (meaning "all people") is an epidemic of infectious disease that is spreading through human populations across a large region. When you apply that to music, it is well fitting. Listening to this band gives you the understanding that they mean business. I have had a chance to see what reponses people get when listening to them and I was pleasently surprised. People where asking who they were cause they loved how they sounded and were wondering where they were from. This New Orleans band does fit their name. The fact that they can hold people’s attention after just a few minutes of listening is a very good thing. There are many bands out there that take a few times due their to generic rock attributes. The rock you hear from Pandemic is loud like a lot of bands but has lyrics that you hear and focus on from the start. They have songs like Normal Pill, Long Way Home, Lucky Me and Mistaken to name a few. All very powerful in relating to their listeners and when it all breaks down, they will take the world by storm.

The vocals by Mark Pecoraro are strong and intimidating. I believe this is one of the key factors why they are doing as good as they are. The lyrics sung that he also helps write is something that has given them their edge. To words to best describe them would be realistic and impressive. The other thing that I hear a lot of out of each song is the drummer. Paul OBrien has a soft playing style but evident. Even though their lead guitarist George Butler does a great job playing and help writing songs Paul Obrien is not overpowered.

I am having troubles describing how I would compare these guys to other bands but that might not be a bad thing. It helps them have their own unique slot in the music chain and can give them a foot on the door when needed. In 2008 they released a LP titled “Lessons in Trust” and it has 15 songs on it. I just had to look up listeners reviews on this CD because they are the people that really matter and I was not surprised on how many responses I found. Many of the people who commented all say that this CD is one that they carry everywhere they go and is a their key part of their collection. When I see that from almost all the people who have picked this CD up it gets me thinking. How many people have bought this CD and how many are going to buy it? I see these numbers to be high and to remain high due to the fact that they are amazing live and from what I saw that got people to buy the CD first. In a favour to me and many other listeners who have really heard these guy, buy it! When all you hear is to buy the CD how can you go wrong.
