Chantelle. Rosewood Studios. Tracking begins March 2nd - Officially.

UPDATE on Eisley's New Record

The band officially enters the studio to begin tracking their 3rd LP on March 2nd. Pre-production officially begins 2 weeks out from that (mid-February). So... yeah, don't mind saying we're excited. The band has written about 40 songs. Two are already tracked (o my) and only need a few sprinkles to be completed, 2 more are slated for tracking = 4 songs leaving only 8 more songs to select. We're recording right here in Tyler, TX at Rosewood Studios and will be bringing you regular webisode updates right here on myspace.

We are hoping for a late Summer/early Fall release but you know how that goes. Either way, it's in the works and touring will resume just before the record drops, as always. We don't have anything slated now but will be working on that in the coming months.

That's it! Just wanted to give u guys a quick update.

Oh - and we have a show posted. If you live in Texas and are a fan, Baylor University. Eisley headlines. FREE. Student or non-student. makes no difference. If you are a human bean, you are eligible. Helps to have earholes. New songs previewed for Texas fans even though the band will be in the studio working on that record. Eisley wants to try a few out on our home state folk. Thnx. cya soon. bd

we've played the Orpheum before but I get it confused w/ State Theatre. The same promoter books both. Isn't the Orpheum about 450 cap? We sold that place out on some tour. Too many shows but I remember the club. Yes, we'll be back. Tours will cover the US, I assure you.
Thnx!

yep. Will try our best to return to Pittsburg. It's not a strong eisley market - perhaps because we haven't been there much... once with some un-named band and once on a small, small headlining show. Will try our best. Thnx.

Yeah, I know. The one time we did get to see you in concert, it was at a tiny place called The Grog Shop back in 2005. And I think that was in Ohio, not PA. It was an awesome venue, though. Very small, and we got there super early, so we were pretty close. Anyway, even if you don't make it to PA, I'll try my best to make it to a concert.
:o)

yeah, we sorta love the Grog Shop. coffee right down the way, food, good vibe, the promoter is sweet. The room/PA isn't so great, but it's a great indie-rock club.

You do not. Those are more expensive than Glanktoids. Hope to offer on our merch site. If you want, i can probably dig up an old blob of glunkton since we had too many boxes on our last cruise (Lippie Dippie Doo-Dah Land - where we learned of your leprechanic status; we have tablets for that.. and they're free).

I think Avalon was less 'indie dive' with a better PA. Then again, it was so spread out and dark and... the only thing that matters to us is what you guys like. In the Venue was cool but on our last show there, as we were loading out, naked dudes were climbing into cages (inside) hung from the ceiling and well, there was some scary shiz' going on... the entire zone - outside -shifted. Some dude was passed out right outside the club and people were just stepping over him like he was dead. We loaded out, got the girls in bus, settled with promoter and called our driver. ha ha. I guess they use that club for all sorts of entertainment. :-) Anyway, shows/venues are set up between our agent and the promoter. In fact, the same promoter did that show... she just decided to move it to the Avalon.

Honestly, you guys have shown huge interest and the band knows. We're really thankful... Malaysia would be on the top of our Eisley's list as far as Southeast Asia... or even in all of Asia. Much depends on how well the album does. bviously, it's very expensive. Will be pushing. Thanks so much.

We are on a quiet mission to own Texas. Adding Waco is a piece to the puzzle.

You guys are way down there... we might need to find some other markets to
make it economically feasible. If only we could go off crowd-loudness.

we'll make every effort. thnx.

Boyd, I must 2nd the above comment - San Antonio eisley shows would be very appreciated by us fans that live here! :-) I'd drive to Austin anyway, but it was cool to have the band play here. Just consider it and you'll make me a happy fan! Also, I know it was a while ago, but it was very nice to talk with you again up in Seattle. My dad and I really enjoyed the show.
We're both making the drive up to Waco, hopefully we'll see you again! -Ali
