The song is a metaphor. Only one person is worth imitating, and that's Jesus in case you were wondering what I would say. I'm not saying "Let's be Obama"...Mr. Pres has a unique opportunity to change the nation and the world for the better (whether you agree with his politics or not). Most people believe that you have to be president or some hero to change the world, but you don't. We are the change we seek in our schools, jobs, community, etc. So we too have an opportunity (through God) to be an Obama figure. Thus, I Am (Obama)...and I hope Obama will represent us. Nothing more nothing less. Not too deep and definitely Christian. I can't respond to all of the negative speak. More music needs to be made to fulfill the high call for quality music of love.
