Well this week has just gone by so fast and tomorrow is already Friday its just crazy. After my trip this weekend I got a call Monday from Chase Bank to come in for an interview on Tuesday. So on Tuesday I go in and its pretty relaxed and I thought the interview went well and everyone is friendly, she said I would hear back from them before the end of the week. Well on Wednesday the recruiter called me and offered me the job and told me he would email me the info to come to Dallas to do the finger printing/drug test/paper work on Thursday at 9am. So I waited and waited and waited and this morning rolls around and no email. So I call the branch where I am getting hired and this lady picture up the phone and I was for the manager. Well one was in school at the moment and the other was in farmers branch so no one was around. I tell her I am a new hire and she goes "Oh your Steve?" and im like wow does everyone know me already and i haven't even started. Well she gives me a number to call for directions and its a no go, i call back and a different person answers the phone and I explain everything and shes like.."Oh your Steve right?" LOL. I am like damn so I have met the managers and half the employees by now. Anyway I drive to Dallas and get there a bit late but they were cool and did all my business and peein in a cup. Well on the way back I stop at T.J's house and right before it there is a stop sign and a cop is sitting there and he sees me and pulls me over in front of his house. Well needless to say if you don't already know. My registration has been out since November of 05 and my state inspection expired last month. Well I ask him "I am home, I live in this house and I am just wondering if you will just let me go inside?" He kinda laughs and asks why he should do that lol. So I tell him the whole story of me being out of work for two months and I just got this job and I just came back from my drug test and please just give me time and I will pay it. Well thank god he was in a good mood because he just let me off with a warning! Then on top of that I got a 96 on my History paper today. His exact note on it was "Great paper, very insightful, I hope to get incite from you when we reach The New Deal in class" I was like AWESOME!! I hope I did that well on his test. Anyway its been a very good and beautiful week with weather for me. I hope everyone is doing good thats what has been up with me.
