TEMPUSTRY: le Voyage du Temps

Tempustry is the electronic/new age project of one Allen Brunelle, a musician whose talent encompasses multiple genres and has landed him gigs with various progressive bands, including American neo-progressive stalwarts Iluvatar. Brunelle is a versatile player, having performed and recorded on drums, synthesizers, and vocals. As Tempustry, it's all keyboards and other electronics.
Le Voyage du Temps recalls some of the pioneers who blazed a trail for electronic progressive way back when the iconic Moog synthesizer ruled the realm. Names like Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream and Jean Michel Jarre immediately come to mind. This album's 10 songs don't even break the 42-minute mark, suggesting Brunell might want to stretch things further compositionally on his next outing.
Give him some time. Before Brunelle is through, his work may yet earn him a seat at the masters' table. - Ric Levine
