We may not like playing video games all that much but we do like it when our music is featured on them! Makes us a bit proud even when it's a game as big as Saints Row for the PSP and even prouder when the nice developer people show excellent taste by picking "The Lotus Eater" for it. So if you love playing video games: the game is expected to hit the streets around March 2010.

I've never played any of the Saints Row games, but that's pretty awesome that your music is featured in them. It's still amazing to me when I think of how many metal heads still aren't familiar with Opeth's work but praise psuedo death metal such as Avenged Sevenfold or Killswitch Engaged.

Not that those bands are necessarily terrible, but Opeth win the ass kicking contest hands down...

Glad to know your music is being brought to people who wouldn't otherwise hear it...

I think that for alot of people, they actually need to be ..taught ..how to appreciate progressive bands like Opeth, I know alot of people who don't like listening to Opeth because they don't have the attention span to appreciate songs that go for any longer than 3 minutes... It's a shame that idiots are what make up alot of today's total revanue...

Congrats! im not much of a video game person either but im sure 1 of my friends will pick it up and im so glad its The Lotus Eater cuz its my favorite track on the album. it makes me smile to know that song is getting the recognition and respect it deserves and to know that anybody who picks up the game that is unfamiliar with opeth will get a worthy introduction.

DAME i love you Opeth, and So far every Opeth fan iv'e met (which is not many) all listened to kick ass music, And exactly i agree with that guy, people praise Slipknot and Avenged Sevenfold, when You guys are clearly better than that stuff, Great show at the Avalon though, FUCKING cant wait for that new album you said you were gonna start working on, Ima cry when it comes out!!

Thats weird that Opeth is featured in a game like that, but its awesome nonetheless. Goes to show that even people who enjoy games with a theme such as that one can still show a spark of intelligence! Kudos to Opeth for shining some light on those people!

That would definitely make guitar hero more worthwhile if they actually picked some decent tunes. I'll admit that they have a few decent songs, but that's just a few. Most of the songs are trendy, incredibly crappy pop songs.
