Hey Y'all,
Every Fall The CMJ (College Music Journal) Festival swoops down onto New York City like falling leaves. Venues extend their hours, bands from around the world fly in like birds lost, heading north instead of south while college students and music industry hopefuls try to stay awake for five days straight.
TBB has been selected to showcase at this year's festival and because, to me, a festival is like a party but a whole lot bigger we are going to perform just like the band you know but a whole lot bigger, let me explain:
Our newly finished album 'A Fire to Make Preparations' is lush with string and horn arrangements, with backing singers and a whole lot more bells and whistles that you don't normally get at a TBB show. So we decided to put together the biggest band we've ever had to try and blow the roof off the whole festival.
We are the first band of the night and we go on EARLY (7:00PM Sharp) so make sure you start shampooing your hair by at least 2 or 3PM. Seriously, we are putting a lot into this show and it's a Saturday night AND we're playing for FREE. So, if your choice is between getting fall down drunk or coming to the show just do both. We won't judge.
We'll be sharing the stage with the Talented Sam Bisbee and David Garza. Here are all the details:
DATE: Saturday, October 20th TIME: 7:00PM at VENUE: The Living Room 154 Ludlow St. Btwn Stanton & Rivington New York, NY 10002 PRICE: FREE (limited seating)
We will have CD's for sale, t-shirts and all the button swag you can fit on an American Apparel hoodie.
xo,
The Boy Bathing
