The NY Daily News ran this article about Aussie food in NYC. Admittedly I've only been to one 'Aussie Bar' and I cringed. It would be like you guys going to Australia and then going into some bar that was supposedly 'American' and everyone was acting all 'hillbilly'.

That's how I felt anyway.

Next week is G'DAY USA week in NY and LA. A government initiative to promote Australian Business in the states.

There's going to be an Australian guy doing a show at Blender Theatre in Gramercy. His name is Shannon Noll and his music is quite good and catchy.

If you wanna see some Australian rock music get along and check him out.

The Australian rock scene is actually going off at the moment and there's stacks of great bands trying to crack the USA market. I'll be adding some links to these bands for you to check out as my contribution to GDAY USA week lol.
