the last three days i´ve spent three hours each to record the pilot tracks for the rest of the songs so this counts as one day i suppose.
after all my guitars have been stolen in oslo two weeks ago i had to buy new stuff first which has nothing to do with the recording of pilot tracks really. but as i got two nice new guitars this week it feels very good and i wanted to record so badly that i even added three more songs on the list...after little bird, three trees and the smell of grace, which i already recorded new versions of in late 2003 and the face of death and another way which i recorded the pilot tracks and the drums before the oslo incident these are the songs i started recording for those of you who think it´s cool to know:
some songs that you might have heard the demos before:
the iron glove, paint a picture, private peace city (featured on the city e.p., the latter will probably get both new title and lyrics), stryper cover song (demo on the mountain e.p., also getting a new title), lightning strike me (lightning strike me e.p.), let the spirit ride (the field e.p.)
some songs you might have heard live before:
you are loved (altar boys cover song), you are, waiting for you,
some pretty old songs:
beautiful (i love you), polite pilate, worship workshop, i opened my window and shouted loud, fountain of gold, dream stop,
and some new songs:
afraid to close, show you what lasts, and another one that is so new that i don´t even remember the name...
altogether 24 songs of which maybe 12 are gonna make it...
