I love evenings at home. The TV is on the living room, and I'm listening to music in the computer room. Dinner is in the oven. The dogs are sleeping on the couch.Last Friday, Ernie and I went to the mall to pick my ring up. We had dropped it off to be resized the previous weekend. Now it's a perfect fit, and I can wear it on my ring finger. I love it even more now! After that, we went to a pet store to look at puppies. Yes, just look...we aren't totally insane. We hit up Max & Erma's for dinner and headed home.Saturday morning, I was hustling to pack and get out the door so I could drive up to Saginaw to spend the weekend with my parents. While loading my car, I had to run back inside to get my camera so I could snap a pic of the beautiful sunrise: I love where we live.I was kind of freaked out about making the drive because it was snowing, but it was just a really light, fluffy snow. The freeways were pretty quiet too, so that helped. We had a nice weekend. Mom, Dad, and I went out to eat, watched some episodes of The Big Bang Theory, and just hung out. Mom and I got haircuts and went shopping. I love going back home and sleeping in my old bedroom. They have cats too, so that is obviously fun.Speaking of cats...my sister got a new cat! His name is Myles. He's a cutie! I can't wait to meet him.Look at his big ol' blockhead!!!! I'm in love. So far, I've only managed to watch one movie from the Alfred Hitchcock collection I got for Christmas. 13 movies left...this is going to take awhile! It's nice to have a bunch of great movies to look forward to watching though. I'm hoping I'll have time to watch another one this weekend. Oh, and since it's a popular question...why, yes, I do love the new U2 song.
