Say Good Bye.

We met by chance.

And I was moved away.

You just followed me.

Like a puppy.

Then one day the moving stopped.

And you were there.

You were always there for me.

I listened to what you had to say.

You showed me how to listen, to remain calm, and to think before I act.

To accomplish something every day.

Even just one task.

That way, I would always progress.

I did as you suggested.

We were inseparable.

We went everywhere together.

Nothing stays the same.

Everything changes.

We weathered the changes together.

Most of the changes had little to no effect on our relationship.

However one change did.

If we are seen together now, we both lose.

I will not allow my to be children taken again.

I do not wish to go to jail.

I don't want to see you thrown in the bushes, flushed way, or just waisted.

So I walked away and set you free, to join those who need such friend.

I have new responsibilities.

An important task.

A new purpose in life.

The times we enjoyed together are just memories.

I still follow your advice.

I will be alright.

You have a timeless quality about you.

I am confident that you will never be as lonely as I will be without you.
