The America I grew up in no longer exsists!
A concept that was given credence Twice on MSNBC 07/16/2008.
They are telling me that the country I grew up in no longer exsists.
I may be a member of the first generation of Americans that has to except the fact that America,
My Country Tis Of The....
No Longer exsists.
That my family fought and died for a country that no longer exsists.
Those are fighting words.
Except they tell me it's to late.
When did we cross over?
I didn't notice it on or after 911.
Sometime in the last 7 years my America was lost.
Lost to who?
Maybe I don't know, because no battle was fought.
We just gave it to them?
Who are they that they can take my Country from me?
Only the Health Nazis and Police State Cowards have been winning any ground that I've been aware of.
I felt shame for my generation for quite some time. We started out with such a bang.
And grew up into a bunch of weak cry babies.
"We need more police" "The smoker next door" "Air bags" "Drug Testing"
and many more examples of "I know What's Best For You" or
"Please Take Care Of Me"
It makes me sick.
When I say whatever happened to personal responsibility.
People say Huh? That would never work!
It wasn't me! "It was the drugs!"
You get what you deserve, nothing more and nothing less.
Sadly,
Barry
