Okay, Here's the story...
I'm here to take photographs. To capture a moment in time.
To tell part of a story.
That being said if you want to be part of one of my stories or want me to help tell one of yours I have no problem doing that. Because I am still learning I will take no money for the photos or at this time can I pay you for modeling for me. Though if I have to travel a fair distance to you or some where YOU want to shoot at, I will be asking for gas money. Other wise an exchange called Time for CD is made. In payment for your willingness to work with me, I take what I think are the best images and work with them in post preduction. With the from post you will get images burned on to CD. Yes, they will have my name on them. I do not give out photos that do not have my name on them. Also, you will be featured in my portfolio on various websites, unless an agreement was made before the shoot.
Prior to the shoot, we will discuss what the overall concept will be. This will be a meeting over the phone or over coffee. I will require a first and last name prior to a shoot. I will also require a phone number. Once a concept has been decided opon, we will discuss a date and time. I try to work out what's easiest for both of us, though I do have a regular 40 hr job during the week. Saturdays and Sundays are the easiest for me to shoot on. But I'm willing to compromise it you are too.
The day before we are scheduled to shoot I will call you to confirm. I am willing to leave messages but I expect a phone call back. If I do not recieve a phone call back, I will assume that the shoot has been not confirmed. If a shoot is unconfirmed, I will not show up at the specified location. If you have to cancel that is fine, please try to do it the day before the shoot. If you find on the day of the shoot that you can not make it, please call me. A text message or message on myspace or model mayhem is not acceptable. One cancellation on the day of the shoot is okay, if done by phone call. If not done by phone call, is not. I will not work with anybody who does not offer me common courtesy.
When I'm working with models, I do not consider photography a hobbie. It is a business or a job. I treat it like a job. I expect you to treat it like a job or something as important as a job. This is important to me. I do not care if it is your first time in front the camera as a model or if you have modeling experiance. I will always treat you with respect and I expect to be treated with respect.
Thank you and I can't wait to work with you!!! : )
