What if we only had personal relationships that inspired us to reach our full potential?

How many of us are stuck and trapped and investing into someone or something that will not encourage and inspire growth...when do we stay...when do we go...when do we witness true value and finally become comfortable with peace and ease.

do we often compromise too much? and lose ourselves in the process...all along having this gut feeling, this warning going on internally...

my dear sis says when it comes to any other warnings we stop...and take heed...when we riding in the car and hear the police and ambulance we pull over...we tend to it immediately...but when it comes to ourselves we ignore the warning signs...the gut feelings...

when do we break the cycle? what does it take?

when I began to wintess how I defined myself I realized that it was as a survivor, a warrior, a grinder, fasicnated with truimph and overcoming adversities...yet with this I realized that in order to be fascinated with this resilience that struggle must come first...victory only comes by way of stuggle...that at some point we have felt defeat or the threat of defeat....

yet...when we triumph...when we finally achive peace and ease...oddly we are now in a place of discomfort...because its so unfamiliar...because we've never had it...because its so new...

and now we are lost for definition and tend to create that which we worked so hard to overcome...

we self destruct...

"listen all of yall its a sabotage"

Im really amazed by witnessing this...and know that it takes courage to move forward with love and grace...

and Im grateful for the signs that teach me how to do so.

May our Lord grant this to us all. courage to move in love and grace. ameen.

this is so incredibly true, more often than not I ignore the 'gut feelings' and i guess, we need to re-learn how to read the signs.

Important questions...and ones to which I am also struggling to find my personal answers. Peace and blessings, my friend.

Crossing Limits

You list moments in which one's stops for the police programmed thought and action, which leads my mind to the teaching or moment in which a child learns through words or harmful action not to touch the stove. This life is filled with moments of being told what to do vs. how to... How to create peace, how to love, how to open...it is clear and some have taped their badge upon skin a reminder of hards times, that we have mastered and expect struggle, that we have learned to go without, to fill the parenting shoes of man and woman but no ever seems to ask can you fall, stand and learn to live again for some things must die in an effort to save and honor ourselves.

it's so true. i see this within myself. when u're so accustomed to turmoil, peace brings you anxiety.

May the Most High grant us strength to find inner peace. Ameen.
