could the reason your day went bad at work be because you would rather screw around than do the job..maybe...how about instead of blaming everyone else for your always getting shit on maybe you should look at your..."i'll do what i want attitude" yeah i accused you of doing 2 things tonight that you did not do...1st i accused you of taking my name tag...and you did'nt...but hmmm why did that happen...oh yeah its because you have a collection of other peoples name tags that you took from their desks or wherever you got them from..and whether you admit it or not that stealing other peoples property....next i accused you of putting something in the mop sink that you did'nt...but in my defense you have put stuff in there before and lied about it..the problem with you is..i cant trust what you say...you have lied so many times and when you get caught you just laugh it off and say  "i do what i want" so seriously how is anybody suppose to take you seriously? As far as Tammy telling you that you were doing a good job..maybe you were when she saw you..she gets around you like 5 minutes a shift...i work with you your whole shift and all i have to say is to bad you cant carry that good job over for your full shift..maybe you do on the days when i'm not working with you but rarely on the days i do..you get too distracted...you have no sense of urgency....anyhow i'm only commenting on the part of this that pertains to me.the other part you posted..well thats just a sad cry for help....i hope someday you get some

 

Ohhh man. WELL. Originally I planned on commenting on this with something motivational and uplifting...or at least something along those lines.
However, after reading guy's post prior to mine, I think that there is definitely something much better I can give an opinion on.
First off, I've gathered that this is the guy you work with, who you referenced, obvz. But really, I'm hoping he is a manager, because if so, I can really do nothing but pity him. 39 years old, still working at Publix, and definitely CANNOT spell "Didn't" correctly (The apostrophe goes after the 'n'.) Not to mention that there is absolutely no punctuation in his explaination of whatever happened, except for a shit ton of periods. Ellipsis don't count for comma's, just FYI.
Ugh, anyway, the thing that he seems to be attempting to defend himself on is a mess of contradictions and pointing fingers.

Okay, so you already start your defense by saying that you were wrong. Credibility= -10.

Oh sweet, so another thing that happened, that didn't actually happen. Well, Sounds like this guy is seriously just out to try and get you in trouble for nothing. Anthony, you're not doing anything while this guy is just pinning things on you left and right. Great job, Guy, you're doing awesome in your leadership position, assuming that is what you have.

You know, I know you're an asshole, Anthony. I know you have your days when everything just pisses you off and you take it out on other people. But that's how you are. And you've worked at Publix for a long ass time now, so I'm pretty sure you know how to get your job done, even if you do goof off occasional. AND ON THAT NOTE, who doesn't goof off at work? I mean, if you can't have a little bit of fun while working, what's the point?

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I'm here for you no matter what. I'm pretty sure you've already got a good grasp on that fact, but I know we haven't been talking as much as we used to lately, and I don't want you to think I've forgotten about you. Shit, you're still in my Fav Fives on my phone, so that I can talk to you whenever you do call. :}


I'm sorry things aren't looking so bright recently. But I really think you should look in to getting back into school. I think that would be really good for you. Not to mention, it'll get you out of the hell hole that publix has seemingly become, at least eventually.

i wrote out a whole big response to this and then scraped it. so i will say this....its good that you defend your friend even if the defense of "i know your an asshole and you tend to take it out on others when your pissed" is not much of a defense at all..its pretty much enabling him to hurt other people. He actually listens to you...a real friend would try to help him work on that rather than just going with it.  No i'm not a manager i'm just the guy whos ass is on the line when he decides to screw around and not do what he is getting paid for..unfortunately that comes with having been there to long. why listen to me though..i'm just a pathetic 39 year old guy. :-)
also for future encounters with other people..attacking someones grammar is the biggest cop out there is..usually it does not have the desired effect to piss someone off thaT your going for.

 

lastly if it were not for the fact that i was so wonderfully mentioned in this blog i would not have given it a second thought...so maybe in the future anthony you can refrain from portraying me as the guy that shits on your day and just not mention me at all...i'm not putting up why anthony pissed me off tonight blogs. Feel free to delete me if you want.
