Idiot is probably too nice of a word.

Desirie Osuna was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing her car. She was on her way home from Hollywood at about 5:30am.

Did I forget to mention she's 20 years old?

Listen, little girl, I'm 29. I'm not allowed to drink and drive, what makes you think you can? You think you're above the law? I'm not above the law. Why should you be?

If you think you are old enough to party it up in Hollywood, you need to learn how to be responsible. Obviously, you are not. You deserve the guilt that is going to eat you up inside for the rest of your life for being such an idiot.

I know. Some of you are going to be play the "only God can judge her." Screw that.

Drinking and driving is socially acceptable because we have too many morons feeling sorry for this girl.

Don't.

22 year old Elisa Failauga was the passenger when Desirie crashed her car.

She died at the scene.

One of those things I'll never understand is people who think they can drink and drive. I just don't get it. 5:30 in the morning? Goodness.

Her friends are defending her already, saying it was an "honest" mistake.

Her friends are as pathetic as she was.

How can killing someone be a mistake?

"Oops" doesn't cut it.

"Oops, my bad, I killed my friend, I promise never to do that again.
"

I hope she gets her license revoked for 22 years MINIMUM.

and you know what the sad thing about all of this is....she will probably pay her way out of jail, or she will go to jail for a couple of hours and be done with it.....what the hell is our justice system and our children coming to....? No one has asked themselves, do we really want these reckless teenagers being the ones who end up running our country in the future? So sad....poor girl that died.....

Exactly.

I hope she feels embarrassed for life, knowing her name will always live on the internet as the girl that killed her friend while coming home from a club when she wasn't even old enough to drink yet.

It's the modern version of the scarlet letter.

You're right, this girl is an idiot....and so are her friends who are defending her by saying " it was an honest mistake.". That "mistake" ended a young life and I'm sure it devastated a family.

Apparently, this girl Desirie has a history of reckless driving.
She's not even 20 yet!

I hardly drink anymore but I can't imagine drinking and driving and being responsible for the death of someone's daughter, friend, niece......

What a waste of a young life.

Carlitos!

She's a 20 year old DRINKING!

No wonder she defends the moronic actions of Desirie-

She's a moron herself.

Yeah, I think I'll take the advice of a 20 year old half naked drunk girl studying criminal law.

ha ha.

That was the most ignorant comment I have read thus far, Sara.

First of all, I didn't get the info from the newspaper, I got it from the police dept.

Second, to respond to your dumb little comment:

"But we all make mistakes and neither of the girls got in the car that night knowing what would happen.
"

Really? What part of "don't drink and drive" do you party heads not understand? She was only 20. She has a HISTORY of reckless driving behavior. That's just being stupid. I sure hope you don't drink and drive and take this as a lesson learned.

You can call me "unintelligent" but you are coming off defending drinking and driving after Elisa died. Talk about moronic.

I wrote to the D.A. and requested that she receive the maximum punishment allowed per law, and on our blog, we asked our readers to do the same. We lost so many people due to irresponsible behavior such as Desirie's this past year. She's a murderer.

ps

At least I read the newspaper, FYI. It would do you and your party friends some good to read the paper once in a while so you can read about all the drunk driving accidents in Ventura County. If you did, you would see that one accident is one too many. But it's obvious you are just as irresponsible as she is if you think it's ok.

Your friend will never have my pity. She doesn't deserve it.

Great work Elidet. Don;t back down, you're on the right path.

It is beyond stunning that so many young people out there defend this idiot murderer.
