Long time no speak!Brand new songs up...

How are you?

I can't believe how long it's been since my last blog...forgive me?

I've been locked away working on home demo's for months now.

I've actually got about 30 on the go and some really catchy little numbers have appeared and I wanted to put some up on myspace for you to hear and comment on- what do you reckon? Do drop by and have a listen.

There are samples of: 'I Will Try', 'Don't Turn Me Down', 'Back In Time' and 'I'm All Yours' Tonight' and the whole of 'Hold On'. I played 'I'm All Yours' Tonight' with my band in London back in September so if it's familiar- that'll be why;)

Please forgive the low quality of the demo's- I'm not even singing into a microphone, just singing into the in built mic on my laptop, so it's fairly low-fi/shocking!;) Just to offend guitarists the world over I've used fake guitars from Garageband just to get the general idea of the song over, however I am well aware it's all a bit naff;) So - apologies to guitarists for the audio-pain! Hope you can enjoy the demo's anyway;)

Please also have a listen to 'You are all I see' which is a track I recorded a year or so ago in Townhouse studios in London. It is one of my favourite songs. I remember doing the vocal at 2 am just before we got kicked out of the studio! 'Wealthy Man' 'Something on your mind' and  'The Mystery' are still up too;)

Loads of you have been messaging me for 12 months asking when my album will finally be out- I can only apologise sincerely for the year long delay so far! Well, various things have been happening behind the scenes at Doug Walker HQ....more news to follow soon...I promise to blog again when I can reveal more;)

In the mean time- enjoy the new tunes;)

Doug
