Current mood:looking for steak not crow Category: Life
In this life we often find ourselves choosing a side in a situation that may or may not involve us. Choosing between two people can be even more of a pain because we often choose a side without hearing the other. Truth is we are some how drawn the side of the best story teller or the least amount of the truth told without even finding out the other sides story. It's bad enough when two or more people draw lines in the sand and can't seem to resolve an issue even when one party is willing to do all needed to make it right. The real heart breaker are the one's drawn to take a side based only on one side of the story. Here's the "country " wisdom.... Truth in a disagreement from both sides has a way of crossing paths a ways down the road. By that time though the damage has been done and there is a long list of folks taken down with one side or the other that will be eating humble pie or crow. Neither is a good part of a diet plan I feel comfortable with. For all who have chosen to listen and not find out the whole truth in a given situation... here's to an unhealthy diet of egg in our face with fried crow with a desert of fresh humble pie. Your drinking from a bitter cup too. So the next time your put in a position to choose , best friend or foe , be wise and get both sides. You may find some of your friends aren't what you thought they were or your foe's. Shame is it's our friends we can be the most dishonest with sometimes just to make us feel better about ourselves . You know ... they are our friends and they'll forgive us ... wont they???? Quote " There's a sucker born every day" If your friendship is at the expence of another.... dinner is served Peace and love to ya and have a great weekend. David
