Kiz arkadasimi T-nri'yla aldatiyorum.
There -- that's for you, if you've ever wondered how to say "I'm cheating on my girlfriend with G-d" in Turkish.
Today has been a big day for packages. Received a big, vinyl-sized envelope for Itta, the Turkish edition of Daphne Gottlieb's "Homewrecker" (that's the first line to my story), and, wait for it....the first package of
Candy in Action hardcovers!!!
They look damn good, if I do say so myself. Glossy wraparound cover, both slick and retro at the same time, and her hair is trailing around like oddly attractive octopus tendrils. And I'm so excited about it that I want to take the whole box straight to the dinner party in Boro Park with all my hardcore Hasidic relatives and make them all buy one, but I don't think that's going to sit very well with them.
Oh, well. They can always snag a copy when they come here for the family Chanukah party....
