I'm back in training for the 2009 MS 150. My brother got me a little computer that tells me the speed of the bike, miles ridden, time ridden, etc. I never used one before, I'd just look around and ask someone who had one how many miles we'd ridden.
I decided to do 10 miles tonight. I figured that would be easy. I've seriously got my work cut out for me to get back in shape. It sucked. My pace was terrible. I did keep the bike geared all the way up, so it wasn't like it was easy to pedal, but I still couldn't do better than like a 16mph pace. I did finish the 10 miles though. Baby steps.
I'm going to stay on my diet and take a few more rides before I see how the spandex fits.
