Mark Hole
Mr Hole aka Singawarewolf made his OneTaste debut back in April and since then this young man has made his voice and his piano playing symbolic of a great night at OneTasteWest.  He delivers his heartfelt lyrics effortlessly and over the months he has turned out to be a pretty funny chap too! Utterly original....utterly brilliant, yes siree!

Work
Work is singer songwriter Michael Perera's artistic vision incarnate, this is their story:
It was in late 2005 - using the sheer power of his imagination - Michael summoned veteran bassist David Harvey. The duo set to work immediately, playing anywhere that would have them and furiously perfecting their rapidly expanding repertoire. Fast forward to 2007. Our intrepid heroes are weary from the never ending quest for the fabled Perfect Drummer. They are confident he is just around the corner and grateful to the glorious individuals who have bravely stepped up to the kit in his absence.Together - be they on stage, in the studio, underwelmed or overdressed - they are Work.

Excentral Tempest
Excentral Tempest is a phenomenal poet who stands up for what she believes in and implodes your minds...here is a snippet of what to expect:"I reply everything is relative, so, whatever the case, please never this feeling, stealing a sly glance at what could have been, in a trance asking what comes next? And how long 'fore the last sun sets, over our heads? Looking for the wise one, stride on gotta stay alive strong, never be scared of your neighbour, stand up tall, swing out with the sabre, against the invader, this is rampant mental piracy, complete invasion of privacy, not much left that inspires me here so you gotta come close come near, bun fear bun meekness, some fear their weakness, we dont, some ready to surrender, we wont, one thing's for sure, that's we gotta be bold, coz we were all born free souls..."Phew...it is a true treat that we have her down with us for the night!

OneTaste VOTED NO. 1 by The London Paper

Bit of news for everyone: The London Paper voted OneTaste number 1 in the Top 10 Spoken Word Nights in London! There was a massive photo of David J and info about what we do on a double page spread! We were all very chuffed but more importantly, 10 great shows were mentioned and this kind of article will go a long way to letting more people know about the incredible spoken word artists that are out there like Polarbear, David J, Inua Ellams, Zena Edwards, Scroobius Pip etc...Plus our cover article in Straight No Chaser is still available to buy in good record shops, pick up a copy it's a great article.

Final Word, These Tuesday nights are proving to be absolutely magical - a brilliant way to chill on a Tuesday evening.Bring your friends and see you there at 8pm!
