Every once in a while, I get to thinking.. thinking about where I am in life, who I am, who matters to me most, and why.
I don't have time for people who are only your friend when it's convenient.. for them.

I don't have time for people who just add *more* drama to my life--I have enough of my own, thank you.

I don't have time for people who tell me one thing, then tell other people something different.. when they shouldn't have been talking about it in the first place!

I don't have time for people who judge me, or the things I do.. there's only ONE that is allowed to do that, and I'll meet Him one day.

I don't have time for people who will treat me a certain way just because they're *supposed* to.

I do have time for those people who are genuine.

I do have time for those people who work to improve themselves, and don't just sit stagnant.

I do have time.. for people who make time for me.

I have a quirky personality, one that some people just don't *get*. I'm fine with that. But when I meet those that really do understand me..I keep them close.

I have precious few friends...real, true friends. But those friends that I do have, will know that I am a fiercely loyal person to the core. As the years have passed, some of my friends and I see eachother less often, talk less often, but the fact remains that we will ALWAYS be friends, and when I talk to them, it's as if we spoke yesterday. Yes, we all have our disagreements, but in the end they're still my brothers, and my sisters. I love you all.

Maybe this sounds a little selfish, but well, it is what it is.. and if you don't *get* what I'm saying, then you don't *get* me.
