We rented this movie after it came out and I have to say this is one of the most original movies I've seen lately. In a time when so much is recycled and things are being remade that clearly don't need it, it's nice to see an original movie idea executed correctly. Maybe it's because it's based on a true story? I don't know how much of this movie is made up, but I have to say there were many moments throughout the movie where I jumped and even "yelped"! That's right, Mark and I sat on the couch watching the movie and yelped at least once, maybe twice! The kind of yelping you do in a haunted house. Compelling original characters ideas. Great haunted house, and powerful images keep this movie on the top of my list of cool movies I've seen this summer. As usual, I don't write about every movie I see but I try to let you know about the notable ones and this one is! Go see it!
