I know it's a little late but we just watched "Hatchet" last night and I thought it was very interesting. After all, where else can you find Freddy, Jason and Candyman all in one movie? Really, it was just surprise after surprise! The 3 characters don't appear but Robert Englund makes an appearance (won't tell you what happens to him..) Tony Todd peeks in and charms us with his deep tones and then Kane Hodder plays the main character all grown up. And get this, the main character is a deformed huge killer! Sound familiar? Old school horror, for sure! There were some IMPOSSIBLE parts but there were also a couple of original kills which is a pleasant surprise. It was funny and I didn't have to think too hard which I guess will appeal to mass audiences. I say that like it hasn't been out for a year already. Anyway, it did it's job and then ending was a little reminiscent of another classic. Not a ground breaker but it was good enough.
