"TO the YOUTH of AMERICA"

by Andrew Strom.

I write this as a musician and a radical. Christian Youth of America, your generation is dying, and I need to ask if you are EXTREME enough to provide the answers. We know there never was anyone more "Extreme" than Jesus. But what about you?

Christian Youth, I need to ask why you sit in the padded pews of your fathers while all around the darkness takes your cities and your friends.

I need to ask why you worship the great god of Entertainment, just like your parents before you - but a bit 'louder' - and think that is "radical".

I need to ask why you think it is "extreme" to slam and mosh, when all the while the devil owns your streets, and fat Record Companies line their pockets with your cash.

I need to know why you have allowed the system to make you a slave - a "consumer" - a clone. I need to know why you can be sucked into buying $150 shoes and $200 sunglasses - while 30,000 children die of starvation every day.

I need to know why you will not cry out to the rich money-preachers "REPENT". I need to know why you still enjoy it when they tickle your ears and never speak of Hell. I need to know why you accept it when their gospel sounds like a toothpaste commercial - all slick and no substance. Well-dressed drones with plastic smiles, selling you the latest line in snake-oil. WHEN WILL YOU WEEP?

I look at your piercings and your tattoos and your hair and I still have to tell you: You are nowhere near EXTREME ENOUGH. The outward appearance will not do.

The time is coming when an army of young warriors will hit the streets - fearless and bold beyond anything we have ever seen. Even death itself will hold no fear. They will cry to the church "REPENT" and to the comfortable, "SELL what you have and GIVE TO THE POOR". They will be hated and despised by religious authorities. They will openly decry the TV preachers and eschew the watered-down pap that passes for 'gospel' in our day. They will reject sin and love people - even the homeless and the very least. Utterly pure of heart, they will befriend the prostitutes and the gang bangers. They will look and sound just like Jesus.

With great daring and ruthless aggression, this army will make war on the devil and the darkness. Their music will be hymns of battle. Their sound will ROAR over the crowd. Truly these shall be the 'Sons of Thunder'.

Christian Youth of America, can you not hear the call of God in this hour? All heaven awaits the moment when you will arise and ACT on behalf of your generation.

To the Christian Youth of America I say:
It is time to get "EXTREME".

God bless you all.
-Andrew Strom.

The Front Lines

by Ashes Todd of Silhouette A.D.

Day one on, their first words - lies.
Like snakes that won't be charmed
stand back, get armed.

Drowning in our mess, powerless and sick
our capitals city's a ghost town
looted, trashed, and overrun  by foxes and rats.
I expect you be there.

Theres a daily war, it rages on and on
Demons verses Angels verses me
I'm beaten, broken and tired. They threaten again
I expect you to be there.

"Don't Panic! I'll be up front with you.
The Demons, they will push
they will try to turn you."

This is a battle. This is the battle.
I have been waiting for.
I promise, I will be up front, waiting.
I will be up front with you.

THIS IS THE BATTLE !

some of us are in the battle for the souls of men............................

Check out this blog by our drummer

Whats that we see in the distance?
eyes pouring fire blaze
a cloud on the horizon
like doves darkening the sky
The countdown has begun
the terror is on us.
Dressed in black, you weep most bitterly.
This is the reality
not the illusion.
you've seen a lot
but looked at nothing.
like lost stars in outer space
on their way to the black hole.
Whats that we see in the distance?
The was, the is, the coming
to demolish, then start over.
So quit your worship charades
I can't stand your trivial religious games.
instead of climbing up
you came down.
now you are nothing as we are.
The betrayer, betrayed
His heart is hopelessly dark and decietful.
But what is that we see coming?
the day the sky will collapse
and desecrate the face of the world.
The countdown has begun
this is reality.
Getting to the heart of the human
We'll treat them as they really are
not who they pretend to be.
         This is reality.
Whats that we see in the distance?
A white horse and it's rider
the one light in a dark time.
blind your eyes
so that you see nothing
blind your eyes.

The ground under our feet mourns
I desire the end
when the landscape
will be a moonscape
nothing, but a wisp of fog.
As the blood drains
from the face of earth
She'll wake to nothing.

Again whats that we see in the distance?

wow you guys are so true about all of it. i feel the same way. the youth of america is becoming to dependent on the media, when the entire foundation of their being is Christ. its almost sickening to see "cultural christians" every day all around. they say they're christians, but they don't reflect it in their lives. it gives new christians and non-believers the idea that christianity is based on the idea that we say things, and dont really mean it. i can tell you that most people even in my own church come to church once a week and think that is enough to save them, while they live wordly lives the rest of the week. like they climb the ladder on sundays and just fall right back down to the ground throughout the week. i'm one of the youngest in my youth group, but i was voted as both the youth leader and praise band leader of my youth group. its really sad that a lot of people that i should be looking up to are "cultural christians." in a test we took the other day at church, only three our of 17 could name five of the twelve desciples. somehow, the true believers and followers of Christ have to show the world that we are strong in Faith and we life for a purpose, i mean  REAL purpose. not just to satify wordly needs. i believe that one day, i will truly be able to make a difference. not just in my school to my friends, or at church to the people i set an example for, but for a much larger group of people that have never seen the true power of God in people.

haha well i guess i kinda went off a little but all Christians need to take a stand and fight for what they believe in.

finally truth has been spoken, if only the people of God would hear and respond to these words. I pray that i would one of those who would rise up in the dark hour, and show this lost and dying world the light of God. I ask that you would pray that will heed this call.

Moshes, tatoos, pericings, even music don't determine if a person is radical. Its all in the heart and its all about answering God's call. every person of every age should do what God has called them to do. God bless.

Love the message and the music.  Thanks be to God.  In the scriptures it seems things will get worse before they get better but that does not mean that this generation is to be a part of that.  I hope your words inspire some kids to go out and LIVE!  Thanks for the words and the reminder.  Praise be.

I am a soldier in the army of my God. The Lord Jesus Christ is my Commanding Officer. The Holy Scripture is my code of conduct. Faith, prayer and the Word are my weapons of warfare. I have been taught by the Holy Spirit, trained by experience, tried by adversity and tested by fire. I am a volunteer in this army, and I am enlisted for eternity. I will not get out, sell out, be talked out or pushed out. I am faithful, reliable, capable and dependable. If my God needs me, I am there. I am a soldier. I am not a baby. I do not need to be pampered, petted, primed up, pumped up, picked up, or pepped up. I am a soldier. No one has to call me, remind me, write me, visit me, entice me or lure me. I am a soldier. I am not a wimp. I am in place, saluting my King, obeying His orders, praising His name and building His kingdom! No one has to send me flowers, gifts, food, cards or candy, or give me handouts. I do not need to be cuddled, cradled, cared for or catered to. I am committed. I cannot have my feelings hurt bad enough to turn me around. I cannot be discouraged enough to turn me aside. I cannot lose enough to cause me to quit. When Jesus called me into this army, I had nothing. If I end up with nothing, I will still come out ahead. I will win. My God has and will continue to supply all of my need. I am more than a conqueror. I will always triumph. I can do all things through Christ. The devil cannot defeat me. People cannot disillusion me. Weather cannot weary me. Sickness cannot stop me. Battles cannot beat me. Money cannot buy me. Governments cannot silence me, and hell cannot handle me. I am a soldier. Even death cannot destroy me. For when my Commander calls me from His battlefield, he will then allow me to rule with Him. I am a soldier in the army, and I’m marching claming victory. I will not give up. I will not turn around. I am a soldier, marching heaven-bound. Here I Stand! Will you stand

In 290 years, through severe persecution, a ragtag band of believers brought the message of the cross to the masses so that it changed the fabric of the empire. When the church held aloft the blood stained banner of Christ, broken souls flocked to the light. When it held up imperial decree it lost. I remember when there was instability and fear across our nation, and the church hit their knees, and then hit the streets. Broken souls flocked to Christ by the thousands. In the eighties the church, once again, held aloft imperial decree, and our nation has been sliding towards the pit ever since.

Also, one note that I feel I should point out. Remember that it was the religious men who had Jesus murdered. These same type of men will turn on you too. Stand strong in your amazing faith.
