Hello there Freakish followers, a very happy overcast summer to you all. We trust you are well?
There's plenty to tell you...
Let's start with the first announcement of dates for our UK tour which begins this September. Keen eyes may have already picked out a few, as they've been jangling about the interweb like loose change for a couple of weeks. Regardless, on the MySpace profile page you’ll find them in order, from the horse’s mouth, in their unedited glory.
Additions to the list will be plentiful in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out and we'll announce all the new ones as soon as we have them confirmed. Tickets for some gigs are already sporadically available. If you would like to be an early bird then click the links for more information to get hold of them.
Next on the agenda is news about our debut album "Oftentimes"... Nothing's ever easy is it?
Since our last correspondence, we have:
- Finished recording everything
- Decided it didn’t feel right
- Started again from scratch!
The obvious downside to all this means that the album will be slightly delayed from our original target of September. But when it's not right, it's not right and we didn't want to release something we weren't happy with. Hopefully the extra wait will prove worthwhile when it's finished.
So looking courageously onward, the "Oftentimes MKII, Part 1" session began on Saturday and it went really well. Our long time producer and friend Dr. Eugenius Fish has control of the wheel we're confident he will steer us in the right direction. Jack is in today finishing off the drums, and putting smiley faces on the Michael Jackson wall chart.
We've also got a sexy new video camera (which took us exactly 8 minutes to break – new one has now arrived) and we will be dropping little video update-nuggets all over the place in the coming week. Hopefully these will become more and more inane as the days go by and the cabin fever kicks in.
To keep you up to date daily, via other methods, we have been spreading our social networking seeds further and further afield of late. Why not head to

All the things you can look forward to very soon: Oftentimes pre-order and "deluxe edition" information, new merchandise, new website, more shows, remixes, painting by numbers, viral choirs.
See you at the revolution,
The Freaks
