There's no size-limit and it's an excellent way to send and receive large files in real time without the use of a third party ftp or snail mail.

The other option is www.yousendit.com or www.sendthisfile.com. Normal email providers cap attachment sizes to 10mbs or less. This a FREE service and good for sending files via email... The sender/receiver use their own email address and this service acts as an ftp server to upload/download the files. It's easier than AIM because you don't have to download and install any software to use it and there's no compatibility issue between operating systems (IM's can be a little finicky).
