I'm a bit curious if there would be any interest in the Arcana titles on vinyl!?
I haven't checked with any label or so but I feel that I would like to have your opinion on this so please give us comments/opinions on this!!

Thanks

For me is cd the best there is, no scrachtes no bysounds and compact!..But as for the artwork, vynil it is better too touch and look, for it's bigger!..Vinal is oke, but don't fotget that there are a lot of people whom don't have any player, anymore!..So for them it's a gone and lost idea!..And if you do deside to bring out wonderful stuf on vinyl, ..don't forget that they will mis good songs, or will these songs on cd too?....

I would love to have all the Arcana releases available for download at iTunes and amazon.com. Some releases are difficult to find. ..Vinyl is totally useless for me. ..Just putting in my opinion, not trying to discourage making the vinyl lovers happy.....Whatever happened to the sister release to Le Serpent Rouge? That would be a lovely new download...

Your opinion is worth alot, I wasn't looking for all positive response. If the majority of the people listening to Arcana would not buy vinyl versions of the albums it feels quite useless to release them, perhaps it would be ok to have them release as "limited edition" versions for those who would buy vinyl. I thank you for your comment, and of course all the other comments...I do have some stuff ready for the sister release, I hope to have it ready soon... ;)..There will be quite alot happening around all the Arcana albums soon, and I can assure you that they will all be available for download.....Thanks....Peter Bjärgö..

....I buy as much vinyl as I can find, LP sales are reaching 40% of total music sales nowadays, and increasing, it does sound, no cd can overcome that quality, and it is beautiful in itself, I treasure your second album and The Serpent Rouge on that format, and Sophia..s first opus, too, and it would be great to complete my collection.

I own a picture ep by German thrashers Desaster where it says, "We spit on those who support the death of vinyl", what else can be said?

Thanks for listening and for so many years of fascinating music.....
we're happy to hear this from all of you. A question: Sophia's first release? Do you have that on vinyl?

..Yesss!!!, "Aus der Welt", on brown vinyl, geezzz, IT SOUNDS!!!, and "Cantar de Procella" on double white vinyl, "Serpent Rouge", black vinyl, jewels of pure art.

The industry cheated everybody, me, too, - Neil Young and Elvis Costello are of the same opinion-, by making all of us to believe long plays were something from the past and that cds were something indestructible, and they are not, of course, unless you use them with the same care you do about vinyl, and theres something I deeply regret, that is, not to have bought many more lps while they were available.

Nowadays, vinyl is striking back hard, never will I buy a cd title that I already own on vinyl, but I do buy vinyl versions of titles bought on cds.

For those who are interested in buying a turntable, look for and visit these websites for the following makes:
Clearaudio, Rega, Project.
To get brand new and used vinyl stuff:
Audiophile USA http://www.audiophileusa.com/ and Acoustic Sounds http://store.acousticsounds.com/

Hope you enjoy these sites as much as I do, til soon, Peter!

Kind regards from Spain.
..

Ah, yes...but that is not the first release, thats why I was wondering. The first Sophia release is Sigillum militum, and we haven't put that on vinyl. But yes, it is a great album:) And that was my first layout, so I am happy with it, even though I can see soooo many errors in it;)..
....I aso have a lot of vinyl, but mostly metal. Started out collecting vinyl back in 1982, but stopped in the end of the 80ies....so I just love when we have some good music on vinyl today:)
../ia....
....

Yes, a fantastic opus, I understand that you being the artist see those mistakes, but it is an impressive album.
I own a lot of metal lps from the eighties, and classic ones in every style, not the widest collection in the world but one to be proud of.

I wish you keep on presenting us with your music for many years and if you can release it on vinyl, much better, if not, I will buy cds instead, thats for sure!

Til soon,
Hugs!
Le vinyl est surement une alternative au téléchargement, à la dématérialisation de la musique, l'objet reprend une forme sacré.....Thierry..
