I'm keeping this one simple this week. Mostly just the stats. If you need humor, watch the Seattle Seahawks play. Oh wait, they have a bye week. Well then I guess watch the Cardinals.
My overall predictions record is now 60-30. This means that 2 out of 3 games I pick have ended up happening. Time for a perfect week, to kick up my overall %. I can do better, yall.
My record per week:
One - 14-2
Two - 11-5
Three - 9-7
Four - 10-4
Five - 9-5
Six - 8-6
Seven - ??
To show how my predictions stack up against the hired analysts at
ESPN.com, we shall compare the following numbers:
Eigsti: 60-30 (soon to be 120-30)
Allen: 55-35 (consistently makes dumb picks. Knows very little about football)
Golic: 58-31 (why are they even paying this guy?)
Hoge: 62-28 (within smacking distance)
Jaworski: 59-25 (he skips games he knows he will lose on)
MORTENSEN: 64-26 (he came back to earth last week. only got 6 correct)
Schefter: 63-27 (takes a surprising lead here, although not for long)
Schlereth: 62-28 (he'll lose a bunch this week - terrible picks)
Wickersham: 59-31 (I'm beating him again - about damn time)
Accuscore/Pick'em: 62-28 (I think Hoge just goes by Accuscore. How lame)
Major upsets to watch out for this week: I was finally right about the Chiefs - I've been giving them a ton of credit, and I'm doing it again this week. They will beat the Chargers, who will play a pretty bad divisional game here. I'm also saying Bills over Panthers and of course 49ers over the Texans. Dont mess with Crabtree. (Even though I'm not going to root for him. Yet....)
