There is a perscription drug for almost every disease or illness experienced by humanity.  Some of them can mean the difference between life and death.  But at what price are we willing to cure oursleves?  I thought about a commercial I had seen a while ago about a particular drug, one I thought would cure all of my ills.  

Side effects may include diarrhea...

The commercial described life before this wonder drug.  It was one of misery.  Waking up and interacting with anyone else was agony.  Reality was seen and interacted with through a sqewed lens. But with only a short visit to the doctor all of this could change.  Embraced with medication, life was a blessed ray of sunshine where you were everyone's best friend.  Where for the first time you could realize all your dreams and take on the world with a clear head.  

Side effects may include headaches or blurred vision...   

Was I not the only one that suffered on a daily basis.  This torment I experienced daily could be dispelled from my being with a simple pill.  I wanted to be a ray of sunshine.  I wanted to be able to walk into any situation I could with confidence and strength.  

Side effects may include movement disorders or twitching...

Communication with other people had always been very challenging, if not impossible.  I always seemed to have difficulty putting into words my thoughts and feelings, but that would soon be a thing of the past.  

Side effects may include inflamed tongue or vomiting...   

My self worth was dictated by what other people thought of me.  It wouldn't matter what other people had to say about me anymore.  

Side effects may include ringing in ears...  

This was going to be great.

Side effects may include urinary disorders...    

I couldn't wait to get to my doctor.  

Side effects may include blood and nymph abnormalities...  

And start truly living for the first time in my life.  

Side effects may include lack of emotions...

All of my problems would soon be gone.   

Side effects may include respiratory infections, skin disorders, nosebleeds, acne, abdominal pain
