Tomorrow, the Lost Crusaders are opening the show at
Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, NJ, for
the Dirtbombs,
Big Fun, and
the Brimstones.
This is our first show since February, and aside from our usual band lineup, we are happy to introduce our brand new drummer, James Bertini, an untrained "natural" in the stripped-down rhythms of gospel and r&b. We will also be accompanied by guest stars, Mike "Sharky" Edison of
the Raunch Hands and the Edison Rocket Train on rhythm guitar and reprising his role of slide guitar madman on "Planted By the Water." Also making the trip will be Brian McBride, original Lost Crusaders bassist, currently of NYC's
Electric Shadows, wailing harmonica and singing lead on "Wasted on the Wind," as he did on our LP, Have You Heard About the World?
We encourage you all (within reason) to attend this benefit for Kate's Foundation for Melanoma Awareness -- a very important cause.

Our next show will be Friday, July 18 at Lower Manhattan's South Street Seaport with none other than former Shangri-Las' frontgirl,
Mary Weiss, now a no-strings-attached, world-class solo artist. Also on the bill, the lovely chanteuses of
the Nouvellas. Not to be outdone in the realm of womankind, the Los Crusaders will be joined onstage by original, formative member Buffi Agüero, also of Atlanta's
Subsonics,
Tiger! Tiger!, and
the Vendettas, and many others. The show starts early, and it's absolutely FREE!
We hope you can come by.
