dear friends,
what
i mean when i say "our final show" is that as of now, we
have nothing booked, and all of us have other projects on our plates
these days. one of us is fully committed to her job which requires
numerous overnights and waking up at 4am, one of us is newly a doctor of anthropology and will be relocating in the fall
(congraaats tinaaa!), one of us is steadily building an amazing house
and one of us is in innumerable other bands (the immature one... guess who?!).
the original members of the band,
ann and i, have discussed the fact that she and i have differing tastes across the board, and have not written any new material for over a year. at this time in our lives we have decided to perhaps
go our separate ways as far as musical collaboration is concerned. she
and i have known each other for 15 years now: six for which we were
schoolmates; four of which were spent in separate cities; three of
which were spent as roommates and five of which we've had the joy of
being in a really, really fun band with many a talented lady and
gentleman.
we are excited to perform our songs for you TONIGHT.. we hope you can make it!
