I caught the NBC nightly news anchor appearing on the Global version of Comedy Central's Global Edition. What I didn't find funny at all was his repeated statements regarding the 'stimulus package' as Monkey legislation to paraphrase.
My issue is that this is seen globally, yet to have a respected anchor of America's nightly news refer to legislation as 'monkey' legislation connoting a slur either at the Congressional Black Caucus members or the President individually or both---should never have been uttered from his mouth since at no time except the late Texas journalist who reported on the Bush family for decades, Molly, there was no other respected journalist who ever made drunken jokes about the former president Bush regarding his inability to stand before a podium upright, nor his slurring of his words.
Yet, one of America's respected nightly journalist deemed an international audience who have been well fed with every perverted image of America's African Americans as far back as WWII with our GI's, and African American WAC's and WAVES who never saw Europe since they weren't allowed out of England while many African American soldiers were assigned to fight under the late French President DeGaul---God forbid that an African American soldier would be seen as heroic let alone receive any medals of honors or commendations by an American president . . .  to Mr. Williams validation of what he called
'monkey legislation' lacking any clarification as he so gratuitously peppered his exchange with Jon Stewart on the Global Edition.
Regardless of whether these are snippets from the week's shows, the fact that it was said either to a national or international audience
where even show panelists of CNBC, CNBC Europe, and CNN fail constantly to refer to the newly elected American President as
President Obama if speaking to a national audience; America's President Obama displaying contempt for America's new president they wouldn't dare do to the former presidents who happened to be OWB and members typically of the OWBC.
I loved Jon's version of payback in a Letterman style but with more oomph repeat with clips---that had everyone with me LOAO! But his missed the one where Kramer tells the dude who calls in on a Friday asking if he should sell his stock that is beginning to slide and gets the opposite response only 2 have it drop to zilch Monday! LMAO!
It doesn't matter what race anyone is, what was said insulted the African American members of Congress, staff members, pages, the executive staff and this President whom evidently they have yet to get over the shock of OMG we got a AAP! CHECK IT OUT SINCE THE NEXT IN LINE MAY BE LATINA OR ASIAN! BAM!
YOU HAVE TO GIVE RESPECT MR. WILLIAMS TO GET RESPECT. THAT YOU FLUSHED WITH A SET OF YAP'S DEMOGRAPHICS THAT AREN'T DOWN WITH THAT!
IF YOU AND YOUR DIRECTORS FAILED TO NOTICE: IT'S A NEW DAY, & WE DON'T PLAY THAT WAY ANYMORE WITH SNIDE ENTENDRES OR OUTRIGHT SATIRICAL SLURS,
WHICHEVER WAY YOU CUT IT---IT IS WRONG AND BREDS HATE! SO BACK UP! BE A MAN AND APOLOGIZE TO AMERICA, THE WORLD, THE AFRICAN AMERICANS SERVING IN CONGRESS AND THE PRESIDENT SINCE YOU WERE SUCH A COWARD YOU DELIBERATELY MADE YOUR REMARKS SO VAGUE AS TO LIKE A WORM SQUIRM OUT OF EXACTLY WHO YOU WERE SPEAK OF WHEN YOU WENT THERE . . .
If we, us, don't stay ENOUGH, then things between each other will be a lie while generation after generation inherits the winds of hatreds of the 'other' without knowing zip!
YOU KNOW I CALL IT LIKE IT IS. I WANT TO KNOW WHETHER BRIAN WILLIAMS IS MAN ENOUGH TO CLARIFY BOTH NATIONALLY AND BACK ON THE STEWART GLOBAL EDITION!
