Following a triumpant gig at The Grapes in Sheffield, the start of August saw the departure of our good friend and colleague Owen. He is off to pastures new to become a school teacher up north. We all are sorry to see him go as he was a great band member who contibuted a lot to the band's development. We all wish him well and know he will be a crackin school teacher.
 
Which brings us to offically welcome the latest edition ot the band, Elaine. Elaine found us through an online advert site and she has been a gem since she arrived. She proved her worth by going into her first gig after three practices and then into the studio a couple of weeks later to lay down some blinding tracks. I am sure you will all agree that she has a fantastic voice and still sends shivers down my spine on a regular basis.
 
At the moment we are writing new material as a three piece and a new set is starting to emerge. We are still looking for a new bass player to complete the line up, so if anyone knows of someone who may be interested please get in touch. We would obviously prefer someone based around the Nottingham area - so if you know anyone, get them to us a line. We are still planning on doing some gigs later in the year, so keep your eyes peeled.
