HI All,
Just to let you all know that The Room are no more! Yes, we have decided to go through a name change and that name is The Death Notes. We became aware of another band called The Room late last year who have released a number of records in the passed and felt that this plus the new line up was a good opportunity to have a name chance. We are still the same line up but just under a new name.
To launch the new name we have included 5 recently recorded songs onthe new Myspace site, which we hope you all like. We are also planning on releasing three of them as a CD at some point soon, and would like to invite any of you to design some artwork for the cover. There will be a bottle of spirits and our eternal gratitude as a prze to the winner. The winning artwork will also feature on the new site.
To mark the ending of The Room we took part in the BOTB comp at the Maze on 18th March. In usual The Room style we came, we rocked and left with a trail of blood and broken equipment in our wake. It was unfortunate that our keyboard player Jamie could not attend the gig, as he was feeling very poorly. But we still soldiered on and did the best we could.
