Duke Wires The Field For Win Number Two In 08'

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Ken Duke, of Selinsgrove, wired the field for his second win of the season in Friday night's 25-lap micro sprint car race at Selinsgrove Raceway Park.
Duke started on the pole and beat outside front row starter and current point leader Todd Hoover into the first turn for the early race lead. Hoover later stopped on the track to avoid a multi-car tangle between turns three and four on the 12th lap.
When the race resumed, Duke held off fifth-place starter Gene Burd and ninth-place starter Brayden Winters. On the 16th circuit, Winters passed Burd for second and began to reel in Duke.
At the finish, Duke was victorious by a comfortable margin over Winters, Burd, Chad Thomas, and Jake Hummel.
