Where: Halpatiokee Park, StuartWhat: This summer's brand new Big Dog Fat Cat Festival raised more than $10,000, and nonprofit hosts the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast and Fools as One plan to make the festival an annual event. More than 500 people attended and enjoyed a full day of live music, classic cars and a barbecue competition.Who: Big Bang Radio won the grand prize in the Battle of the Bands competition and received $500, 20 hours of studio recording time with a technician and 50 percent off additional hours at Miami Beach Recording Studio.
