It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of our dear friend, Steven Oliver Price. He passed away at 2 p m on Monday, September 15, 2008 after a long illness. Steven played the part of Norich the Wounded Healer in the stage production, 'Silver For Gold' ( The Odyssey of Edie Sedgwick ). His performance was magical. He approached the role on a deep Jungian archetypal level and used it to confront and transcend his illness.
His experience and advice in the directorial realm was invaluable and he generously put in many long extra hours of hard work in order to make the play work. I feel privileged to have known him.
He had great personal style, charm, boundless talent and a big heart. He will be so sorely missed but if there is a Heaven ( and I have reason to believe that there is ) then he is there and I can see him now, as that mythic white horse, galloping head-on into the tunnel of light that leads from this earthly plane to the next, galloping full tilt and roaring:"Fierce!"
In loving memory. David J LA, 2008
