Since Ricky Gervais got nominated for two Golden Globes this morning for his work starring, writing and directing the HBO show Extras, which has its finale airing Sunday, figured it was as good a time as any -- well, better than any, really -- to post my interview with Gervais, which took place earlier this fall at the HBO offices in NYC.

It's a great read, and I not only say that because I was half of the conversation, but because I found Gervais to really be inspirational for anyone the slightest bit creative who wants to navigate their way successfully and happily through the mine field that is show business.
