So, yes, there you have it. This, most likely, will
be the only DItS show this Summer, as I plan on
laying low and collecting the 7 million bits of brain
and heart splatter, tossing them in a bowl, beating
with a wooden spoon until luminescently frothy,
pouring into as many metal cupcake pans as
necessary, sticking in the proverbial black oven until
baked to a golden hue of incorrigible decadence which
shines out of the darkness, removing, cooling, and
subsequently serving (come Fall/Winter) to all citizens
of this rapidly melting society in the hope that such
sustenance will h-e-l-p. Because I still fucking care.
See you there!
From the Sanctuary of Hope website:
"All so-called initiatory journeys include these
thresholds and doors where becoming itself
becomes, and where one changes becoming
depending on the hour of the world, the circles
of hell, or the stages of a journey that sets
scales, forms, and cries in variation."
- Deleuze
*** From an e-mail by the organizers: ***
"Presently we are in the process of a court case with our
landlords, and although we do not expect it,
the show will
be subject to possible last minute cancellation"
Just so you know...
