LIKE WOAH! 'Raw/War EP'
------------------------------------------------------
TRACK LISTING
SIDE A:

1.'Discombobulator'

SIDE B:

1.'Girls Sing'
2.'O.S.O.F.'
------------------------------------------------------

Well here we are at our 10th release.
And who better to celebrate this with than our two favourite kids from castle hill, Like and Woah.
Bang gang 12 inches the label has been growing slowly but steadily. Like a the first few miles of a cruise ship pulling out from the harbour.
We have had an anniversary party, a kid has tattooed our logo on his leg and doom gus and I are still the same old real good guys that we always were, all the fame and success of breaking these new guys still hasn't gone to our head. Its a nice feeling when you are releasing music that no one else wants too. Kind of like we are selfless people. Not doing it for the money but for the love. We lie in the same category of people that work in food shelters, travel to far away lands to help set up villages and teach indigenous tribes about the wonders of god, or like the kids outside the supermarket trying to raise money for their local surf club, I guess the closest people you could compare us to is Angelina and Brad or Brangelina as the tabloids like to call them. I guess you could call us Dangerdoomnrat.
Cause we have been such selfless and giving amazingly good guys we have had a relatively easy road in the usually tricky, spiteful, competitive life known as the music industry.
We have had  few run ins, once with our friends at modular when they stole one of our artists, thank god that one worked out, (they payed us a shitload of money to compensate), which we then passed on to the artist (who in the settlement contact im not allowed to reveal his name). we could of made a few hundred grand from that one, but we didn't cause we are GOOD GUYS.
Apart from that and a bit of snickering at awards nights or the odd shoulder barge from an aging coked up executive at some kind of festival after party.
That has been it up until now!
We released the first Like Woah E.P back in ................ There was a bit of a buzz around it both here and overseas, Aoki said it was a hit at his Cinespace night and it became a regular player on radio one and Alex from Boyz Noize said it was his style of noise.
Little did we know the king of bling, the big daddy mac and his big bootied beauty..... none other than Jay Z and Beyonce !!! Were jamming to Like Woah and the rest of the Bang gang 12 inches back catalogue in their stretch hummer on the way to NYC's hot spots. The big man also admitted to making the sweet love to the sound of bag raiders fun punch while cruising in his big ass boat this european summer.
So. What happens next is something that you will not believe.
Jay Z calls up and sends us some raps on our answering machine.
The first one goes like this.... To the tune of discombobulator there is a this bit in there when a sax drops, a bit like cantina band style.
Jay Z flows with "its getting saxxy in here so take off all your clothes" I mean seriously, its pretty lame, not only does he flow like nelly, "Its getting saxxy in here" how corny !!! I mean they say this guy is the king of rap.
I wont even go into what he got Beyonce to sing over girls sing and OSOP.
Lets just say in Girls sing the lyrics consisted of two words. girls and sing. Mmmm not very inventive I must say.
Anyway, Jay Z offered us somewhere around $700, 000  for the E.P
I mean that is a lot of money for us and especially a lot for our two kids Like and Woah who still haven't made enough money to move up from garage band on a Mac laptop. Yep that's right this whole E.P has been done on garage band on a Mac I book when they had curved edges and green plastic inserts.
So... We put it to the guys we said that the could make around $665, 000 dollars (cause we do it for the love we only take 5% for administration and postage) for Jay Z to take the E.P and do some of his gangsta rappin over it, they also had the opportunity to tour with him and who know what could of been done with the merch!!!
So we left it with them, the boys went and shared a sandwich for lunch they had brought from home, (the food prices are just ridiculous right now in Sydney, think its got something to do with this recession, sometimes a sandwich could cost $10) and like the true artist that they are like we, like you are and Like Woah are they said NO,.
They didn't want to bastardize their nose funk ghetto crunk (that's what they call it but there is no crunk in there?) with Jay and B's raps.
So here you go, here it is the new Like Woah toons, in their purest forms of beautiful noise, rap free, like a drunk virgin on their high school formal, horny sexy but as yet still untouched.
Buy it to support these guys.....
To upgrade them to logic, ableton and pro tools,.......
Buy it to support us so we can keep bringing you the tunes that no one else wants to sign.....
But most of all buy it so you will be the first one playing it before it goe number one with its full release with the P Diddy and Nelly Furtado duo's.
THAT'S RIGHT !!   You heard it here, the mogul himself and the sweet sweet sweetness of Nelly Furtado!!!!
We are so excited about this one,
Man.......
The beauty of these two legends singing together, kinda like a triumphant love song from the ghetto. Its pure rap beauty. Coming out in two weeks. $6 dollars on I tunes.
Or you can get the boring version on vinyl, the one without the rap beauty for $20 from any good record store.
Anyway we took the million $$ from Puffy bought the kids a computer and midi controller each, dropped em off the label and passed on to P Diddy.
We are now in the studio with Jay and B and the Bag Raiders for what is going to be the album of the century!!!!!!
Bag Banging Beyonce... Coming out in summer. Get ready.
Its all about the money and the bitches and the niggaz and the playaz right?
