Okay lol...
Not including the occasional school assembly where I had to don bunny ears and a cotton ball on me bum, my one and only foray into acting was in my senior year in high school. I went to four different high schools so in my senior year I was unknown and bound and determine to be remembered. Along with being a annual/journalism photographer (all four years) and actually involved in student government, I decided to try out for the annual school play that ran for 5 days.
This was my initiation into acting and boy was it grueling! 13 weeks of rehearsal, and I WOULD have to get the part of the main characters father who had plenty o' lines! But I did get to fall in love with the main character's girlfriend's mother and KISS her. haha The production you ask? The British farce Charley's Aunt. I was Sir Francis Chesney. He was "a bit over-baked after all ::his:: years in India" haha.
I was told that I was the only actor to consistently maintain my "british accent". Of course! I wasn't acting like Sir Francis Chesney....I WAS Sir Francis Chesney! That and I'm one quarter English.
Anyway...the play was a smashing success and someone broke into the principals office and stole all the profits. Can you say bank deposit?
That's show biz!
