Current mood:  busy
Hello!

We're back from our London/Shrewsbury jaunt, we had a lovely time! The London show was great. Great audience, promoter, sound-man and venue. We had a really brilliant night, so thank you if you came along and thanks also to Will at Electroacoustic club for putting us and the Zoeys on.
Shrewsbury was also a fun show, and thank you to Kim from Zoey Van Goey and her family for putting us up, feeding us and plying us with booze as well as putting so much work into promoting the gig. All in all, a great few days! Pictures will be up shortly....

So we play Edinburgh tomorrow night at The Electric Circus with Zoey Van Goey once again,  also joining us will be St Jude's Infirmary. If you are able, please come along. We'll be selling our new album too!!

Humm, what else? Well, hopefully by now you'll have seen the video for Breathing Exercise up on Clash music (it's emedded on the Myspace here) and we'll have it up on Youtube, Vimeo etc soon too. Converse music have us on their front page just now, with an exclusive free download of Breathing Exercise so if you go here:

                              www.conversemusic.co.uk

you'll find the feature and the download. Trainers!

So the album comes out on Monday in record stores across the U.K, on Itunes and on our webshop which you can find by going here:

                        http://www.strikethecolours.com/shop.htm

The webshop link for Seven Roads isn't live yet, but it will be in the next 24 hours. Plus it'll be me that's sending out the records from the webshop so if you buy from us, I will also throw in...I dunno. A surprise. Maybe.

Some lovely reviews happening, here's one from The List:

Ok, so I'll go now and stop sitting around in my pyjamas and go and get some stuff done.

Incidentally, no-one seems to comment on my blogs anymore : - (  Write some random shit, please!! Help a girl out.

More soon, as you'd expect

Jxx

Really pleased the gigs went well and sorry I could not turn things around for Liverpool. I would still love to promote you there, just need to be more careful about timing and stay healthy. Good luck in Edinburgh.

Hey Antony

No worries, really. It's totally fine and as it turned out we really needed the extra day in Glasgow. Def come and play for you soon though. Just let me know when suits. I hope all it well! Gordy, your hair is a global phenomenon. the mere thought of cutting it off has caused sand storms in Australia. If you cut it off altogether, Sydney will become a sand dune and I'll need to go and dig my family out with a bucket and spade. See you on the 2nd xx

Good stuff, hopefully make it to your Glasgow show, I have placed barbed wire round the date in my diary so unless theres a major emergency....
I may even have a haircut but wait, that might cause an emergency

Lots of love and peace, Gordy.
