'Copy that' says Costello

As consumers become accustomed to putting music on portable players and other locations they find convenient, most major label CDs now carry an FBI warning against piracy.

But not all artists support that action.

The critically revered and outspoken Elvis Costello has added a personal note on his newest Lost Highway release, The Delivery Man.

The back cover bears the official FBI seal and the standardised wording warning against "criminal copyright infringement, including infringement without monetary gain."

Above that, however, Costello has added his own comment: "This artist does not endorse the following warning. The FBI doesn't have his home phone number, and he hopes that they don't have yours."

A spokeswoman for Lost Highway declined comment.

SEX EDUCATION in the 21st century:

CYRUS ASKS: Daddy, how was I born?

DAD SAYS: Ah, my son, I guess one day you will need to find out anyway. Well, you see your Mom and I first got together in a chat room on MSN. Then I set up a date via e-mail with your mom and we met at a cyber-cafe. We sneaked into a secluded room, where your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive. As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall, and since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later a blessed little Pop-Up appeared and said:

"Sort of" is such a harmless thing to say. Sort of. It's just a filler. Sort of - it doesn't really mean anything. But after certain things, sort of means everything. Like after "I love you" or "You're going to live."
