Current mood: animated
Even after 2 and a-half days of recovery, my brain is still the consistency of Cinnamon flavored oatmeal.
SDCC was a blast. A super crowded, sometimes BO smelling blast, but a blast nun-the-less.
We arrived late on Wednesday after a failed attempt to hop an earlier flight.
 'It's like Booze, for dolls.."

Checked in and immediately met up with Tim Miller, Dave Myatt, Carl Cunningham to start SDCC off correctly at the Hyatt. Then moved over to the Hard Rock where we ran into Harry Knowles, who was actually a nice guy and very interesting to talk with. Tim borrowed his Fez..

Shortly after, I was accosted by a crazy intoxicated blond in a tank top, that was in love with my eyebrows. No joke, I can’t make this crap up. Her number is still labeled ‘Do Not Answer’.. lol Made it to bed around 4am
Thursday I dawned Baroness to meet up with some of Cobra’s Finest for a Photoshoot and a Panel on Hasbro’s new toy launch. It’s always interesting to be in a group that large. Moving around is impossible and you gather such a crowd, you feel a bit like a Zoo exhibit. Everyone’s costumes were AMAZING and super detailed. There was even a B.A.T.S. I was floored..

These ladies were soooo much fun to work with!!
I came across the cutest little Snake Eyes at the Hasbro booth, he couldn’t be older than 7. I asked him if I could have my picture taken with him. He looked up at me and said, ‘I don’t take pictures with Cobra!” Then ran behind his father. Mini-Snake eyes just completely shut me down. Made me giggle. At least he had his morals!
Later that day, changed into a modified Black Widow to help one of my friends at Kotobukia with a drawing.

Chris accompanied me as Tony Stark for a bit before moving over to the Marvel booth to play with the full size Iron Man display.

 Mini-Thor drop'n the hammer!
 Best costume EVER!!
Chatted with John for a bit who asked about my mother, very sweat. We quickly dressed down and headed out to a joint-planned dinner with a few of our friends. It was a great time with new people and friends I haven’t seen in a while.

Todd Livingston makes an ugly dinner date, I am just saying. lol
Took a PediCab ride of death at 3am with Todd!

 *mwah*
Friday we were back at Koto as Dark Phoenix and Scott to unveil the next Bishojo statue and to give away more free swag.

 Soooo adorable!!
From there we had to change super quickly ‘phone booth’ style to make it over to Stan Lee’s private event. Chris and I were lucky enough to be asked to be involved in the signing. Before the event started we got to spend a few minuets with ‘the Man’ himself. He is SUCH a wonderful, witty and funny guy. Upon seeing Chris he exclaimed, ‘Bullseye!”. But you know what; If Stan Lee calls you Bullseye, you are freaking Bullseye. After talking for a bit I asked him for a picture. Stan, “You guys are always inconveniencing me!” *sarcasm* Me, “I’ll love you forever..” Stan, “How about just for a couple of nights!” Bwahahahahahahaha!! That’s it; I want to grow up to be just like Stan. Or at least 1/1000th of his awesome.

The rest of the day was spent on the Con floor navigating the throngs of Unwashed, ‘hug me’ signs, and Baby Strollers (Read Gwarpig Dave’s Bulletin on this phenomenon, you will pee from laughter).

 Ronin the Accuser *squee*
Later that night we made it over to the Sideshow Freaks Party to meet up with some friends. After, we migrated over to Hard Rock to dance for a bit. I had the best time with our group there. We were entertained by a dance floor filled by guys in khakis and various plaid button downs, still wearing their con passes (Con pass at 1am= Not getting laid..), doing their best personal Pee-wee Herman jig. Fun was had by all; mostly in the form of A-hole dancing (ie. Changing the light bulb, driving the bus, sprinkler. Etc).
Saturday, I did not wear a single costume.. It was a nice break to actually get to look around at all the new toys, statues and art at the show. Chris wore Iron Fist and rocked it out!
Revenge punch to Ed Brubaker, from Ms Marvel (inside joke lol)
Elvis Trooper (Ken!), Tony Stark (Zen), and Elvis Jedi look'n good on the con floor!
Jess as Black Widow, and an awesome Ant man (no women were beaten in the taking of this picture)!
At 1pm I meet up with Justin Chung at the World Famous Comics booth to help sign his SDCC 11x14 con exclusive litho that was based off me.

I had a REALLY great time.. It was less like a signing and more like a 2 person stand-up comedy act. I look forward to working with him again; it was a pleasure.
Later that night we ended up at a dinner with Ian McCaig. I was in awe and in costume design heaven. That man is genius! I only wish I had a little more time with him to pick his brain.
Made it to the Radical party in Hard Rock after. It was ok. Lots of people, not much to do/see. Did get to see Grant after missing him most of the day. Then literally bumped into Ron Jeremy, aka the Hedgehog on the way out the door to the Hyatt. Interesting..
Sunday, we had a nice lunch with Dave (gwarPig), Georges and Kris. Then ran around the con saying goodbye to everyone.
It was a nice con.. Seamed long at first, then just zipped by. I didn’t take too many photos, so if you see any that are fun, please send me the link!!
Well, in around 4 weeks, we will be doing this all over again at DragonCon! Time to detox, prepare, and get ready for another weekend of craziness!!!
