Hey yall, hope all is good with you. I just went into the studio to do some recording of some new music and some stuff we've been playing live so we have a good representation to send out to agents and labels.

Not to brag, but I am just very proud to be able to play with the guys I do on my gigs and with Kirk Fletcher's band. Everytime we play it's a new experience in music for me. I always learn from all the guys. In my band I get to play with besides, in my opinion, the BADDEST blues guitar player alive, Kirk Fletcher, but also some really legendary figures and some killin young dudes on the LA scene. From the amazing groove of James Gadson, to one of a kind guitar mastery of Michael Landau, to the firepower that IS Gary Novak, to young dudes like Sam Meek, Luke Miller, Gary Davenport and Travis Carlton, who are ALL KILLIN cats in there own right. I am truly grateful to be in their company and have their support.

On this latest recording, I wanted to do a really RAW sounding recording live to 2 track in the studio. Which is an old-school approach, but is how many of the songs that we still listen to today were recorded. You go in and play songs top to bottom and come out with a recording with much more energy and communication and feel than the slick more "put together" recordings of today.
So thats what we did last week. We had a long , hard day of work, but it was the most fun I've ever had recording!! And the results are incredible!! I can't wait to share these new tunes with you. You'll have to wait a bit as I am going to shop some of the stuff to labels to get a budget to finish it. I hope when I do, you'll be as happy as I am that I did it that way.

Thanks for reading and I hope you all had a great Mother's Day!!
